Covid-19.

As you all know, at the moment the entire world is in the grip of a terrible pandemic. Before we mention the impact on Scouting I would like to say that our hearts go out to all those who have lost loved ones.

This is a brand new Web Site, and this page has been totally re-written three times, before the site was even finished. The situation with regard to Covid 19 can necessarily change very quickly.

For this reason, and until the situation stabilises, we would ask you to follow the links below to Scouting's National Site. Firstly to ensure you get up to date information. Secondly, we have to follow their instructions, and their site will obviously update before ours can.

The 10th Croydon has followed the best possible practices and advice, throughout this crisis, and because of that we managed to remain open previously. This was only possible because we managed to comply with all requirements, and got all appropriate permissions and clearances. And that was only possible due to a considerable amount of work from the entire team hear, and in no small part to some "above and beyond" efforts by our Group Chairperson "Sherry". On behalf of the team I can say we will willingly do it all again as soon as we are allowed to.

Covid Update

For now we have had to temporally cease face to face meetings, but we are still operating. We will resume face to face meetings as soon as possible.

We were fully operational and had everything required in place right up to the announcement of the current lockdown, so providing there are no new requirements, (in principle) we should be in a position to re-open as soon as the current lockdown is lifted.

However we MUST always follow the most recent guidance and instructions that are issued on the links below.

You can still contact us by phone, e-mail etc., we are still here for you and will be happy to deal with all enquiries as we did before.

The 10th Croydon has survived two World Wars and the London Blitz - We will survive this pandemic, however like most charities this pandemic has obviously imposed an additional strain on our finances and any help in that area would be much appreciated.

We Are Open Again

We are open again for "face to face" meetings. Thank to everyone who organised and took part in our online meetings, but it's good to be back.

As no new conditions were imposed on us, and as we had everything required in place before the last lock down, we have been able to immediately re-open again.

Unfortunately, We cannot hold face to face meetings again for the moment.
